Tool usage
All utility tools on Quialo run entirely in your browser using JavaScript, Web APIs, or WebAssembly (for PDF features). No files, inputs, or results are transmitted to our servers or any third party for tool functionality. Your data stays on your device.
Email subscription
The optional "Get new tools in your inbox" form collects your email address and forwards it to a mailing list provider (when configured via environment variable). No email addresses are stored by Quialo itself. The provider's privacy policy applies to list management. You can unsubscribe at any time using links provided in emails.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs (Internet Protocol address, user agent, pages visited) for security, analytics, and performance. These logs are subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
Vercel Web Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which tools are used. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page you visited, the referring site, your country, and your browser and device type. Visitors are not identified across days. The script is not added until the region check finishes. In places that require a choice, and when the country is unknown, it is not added until you choose Accept all. Elsewhere it is added when the check confirms a default grant. If you choose Reject all, your visits are not counted. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and you have not accepted, your visits are not counted. An Accept all you already saved still counts, even when that signal is on. Closing the banner without choosing does not record a choice. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic and to understand how visitors use the site. Visitors in the European Economic Area (including territories that use their own country code), the United Kingdom (including the Isle of Man, Jersey, and Guernsey), Gibraltar, Switzerland, Brazil, and Quebec, and visitors whose country we cannot determine, are asked before any analytics request is sent. Until they choose Accept all, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. Google receives no analytics request and no analytics cookie from those visits. Visitors elsewhere receive analytics cookies by default, after the region check. Anyone can turn analytics off from Cookie settings in the footer. A saved choice is kept and overrides that default. Choosing Reject all deletes Google Analytics cookies already stored for this site (_ga and _ga_* on this host and on .quialo.com) and stops further analytics hits in that visit. When analytics cookies are allowed, Google Analytics sets those first-party cookies. Allowing analytics does not set advertising cookies. Advertising cookies are set only after you allow ads, and choosing Reject all removes them. Data is used only for analytics. Internet Protocol addresses are anonymized. No personally identifying information is shared with Google beyond standard request data. If the browser sends Global Privacy Control and no choice has been saved, analytics stays off. An Accept all you already saved still allows analytics, even when that signal is on. Closing the banner without choosing does not record a choice, and in places that require a choice analytics stays off. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Plausible
If Plausible analytics is enabled, it follows the same choice as Google Analytics. The counting script is not added until analytics is allowed. That happens after the region check when analytics is allowed by default, or after you choose Accept all where a choice is required. If you choose Accept all in another open tab, Plausible and Google Analytics start here too. If you choose Reject all in another open tab, both stop, including on a page that was already open. Reject all also stops extra counts, such as how long you kept a page open. Those extra counts are sent when you go to another page or switch away from this one. If you have marked this browser so your own visits are left out of Plausible, that choice is checked every time a count would be sent, including in other open tabs, and it takes effect immediately. Leaving analytics on by default does not clear that mark. Choosing Accept all does. Closing the banner without a choice does not allow Plausible where a choice is required, and does not turn it off where analytics is already allowed by default. A saved Accept all overrides a Global Privacy Control signal, the same way it does for Google Analytics.
Advertising
The Google AdSense publisher id is not set on this site, so the advertising script does not load and no advertising cookies are set. Analytics cookies are described above. If a publisher id is added later, the advertising script and ad placements load only after you allow ads. Allowing analytics by default does not allow ads. If you allow ads and later choose Reject all, the advertising cookies stored for this site (__gads, __gpi, and __eoi) are removed and the page reloads so the advertising script stops.
